NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, (he 24th June, 1988

G S.R. 734(E) .—In exercise of the powers conferred by
section 7 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 113 of 1885),
the Central G jveinmentjhcreby makes the following rules
further to amend the Indian Telegraph Rules, 1951,
namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Telegraph

(Sixth amendment) Rules, 1988.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their
publication in the official Gaeette.

2. In rule 519 of Indian Telegraph Rules, 1951, under the

heading "C. Other charges’’, for item (vi), the
following item shall be substituted, namely :—

“(vi) (a) Public call office charge, effective or ineffe¬
ctive, inland or international .Rs. 8 per call.

(b) charges for the facility of delivery of Inward
calls on Telex PCO’s to Non-Telex Subscribers :

(1) Adiustable Deposit —Minimum Rs. 100
